KRISTIN FAIRLIE - credits include the voice of Bridgette on Total Drama Island/Action/World Tour, the title character in the Nelvana/Nickelodeon series Little Bear, TV series including Instant Star and Flashpoint, and a long list of feature films opposite stars such as Gary Oldman, Kristen Bell, and many more.

ROB LETH - Global Toronto reporter, he started in 2003 as a sports videographer and weekend sports anchor and now covers news from Toronto’s Propane Explosion and major fires in Barrie & Wasaga Beach to getting beaten up by stunt performers or donning the Robin costume to meet Toronto Batman.

The winner of the contest wins the coveted Ralph McQuarrie Award including a cash prize of $250. Ralph McQuarrie, pictured here, was the concept artist who played a huge role in creating the look of the galaxy far, far away that we all love so much.

Last year we didn’t plan for Star Wars Day Toronto to be a family event, but then we were delighted with the surprise when people brought the whole family. It was one of the best things about doing it to see the event turn into a meaningful family experience for many people.

This year we have split the costume contest into a Jedi League (adults) and Padawan League (ages 12 and under), and we’re hard at work cooking up more surprises for the young ones.

Our heartfelt and sincere thanks to everyone who is putting Star Wars Day Toronto on their calendar as an outing for the whole family! We can’t wait to see you at Toronto Underground Cinema on Friday, May 4.

May the fourth be with you!

We are honored and proud to announce that Star Wars Day Toronto has partnered with Sick Kids Foundation.

The event, Friday May 4th at Toronto Underground Cinema, is officially a fundraiser for Sick Kids Foundation and every ticket sold helps to fund research, education, and patient care at The Hospital for Sick Children.

Advance tickets to Star Wars Day Toronto will go on sale on March 2 when we announce the winner of our official poster contest.
